A Robotics Company based in Kashmir, India. The company was founded by 4 like minded individuals to bring change and inspire the youth of Kashmir.
The vision of the company is to bring robotics to the valley, uplifting the living standards of the general public and creating a new job market.
ABOUT
I served as the CEO of the company during the initial stages. Our first project was the Delivery Robot and we managed to develop a working prototype within 6 months.
The robot is very robust and designed in a way to withstand harsh roads and climate of the valley. With it’s high ground clearance and the suspension designed from the ground up, I feel very confident about the design.
Description
The Robot was designed keeping in mind the rough terrain of Kashmir. I first designed the suspension of the robot using the pneumatics controlled by air pressure. The pneumatics were designed using the ordinary syringes with some 3D printed modifications. The wheels of the robot were 3D printed and designed in a way to withstand high pressure while reducing the weight and material used. The wheels are driven by Brushless motors and controlled by custom designed electronics circuit board. The legs of the robot are CNC milled and the steering is designed based on the Ackerman steering geometry. The steering is controlled by a servo motor.
The initial Prototype was controlled by a Remote Control to test the robustness of the design and to evaluate the robot dynamics. Next the team is working on the ROS platform to make the robot Autonomous.
